The Kenya Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society (KOGS) is a professional not-for-profit Society
Established and registered in 1976 under Society’s Act Cap 108 of the laws of Kenya. The vision of KOGS
is to create a Kenyan Society and a world in which all women, young people and men have access to the
highest quality, compassionate, and equitable sexual and reproductive health.
You are invited to quote on supplying KOGS with Audit Services in accordance with the specifications
listed below:
- KOGS Accounts
Audit by reviewing the Books of Account i.e
– Cheque Counterfoils,
– Bank Statements,
– Salary Records,
– Petty Cash Books and Vouchers,
– Cash Reconciliation,
– Membership Contributions,
– Trial Balance and Other Records maintained.
– Management Systems in place, including compliance to Internal Controls. - ii. KOGS Projects Accounts (Bi-Annual Audit)
The audit requirement;
– Monthly transactions like Bank and Cash Transactions,
– Reviewing cheques Books,
– Petty Cash Books and Vouchers,
– Salary Records,
– Annual Budget and Performance against Budget,
– Periodical Reports sent to the Donors
Purpose
The purpose of the Audit quote is to recommend to the members of society as they look into engaging
new auditing services.
