With complete shock and disbelief, I received the news of the sudden demise of Prof. Boaz Otieno Nyunya.
On behalf of the Kenya Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society and my own behalf, allow me to offer the most profound condolences to the family, friends, and KOGS on the passing on of Prof. Boaz Nyunya.
Indeed, as a former Chairman of KOGS, the late Prof. Nyunya was very instrumental and contributed
immensely during the development of the KOGS strategic plan.
For the Reproductive Health Specialists, KOGS notes with pride that the departed was very passionate about the role of KOGS in championing the SRHR agenda.
He was a man of great intellect, vision, and courage who contributed immensely to SRHR in Kenya and beyond.
Today we mourn the passing of a great son of Kenya and who has left behind a powerful legacy of humility, simplicity, and dedication.
